So, im starting off with i know i wasnt very active throughout 2023. I had such big goals for the year, but due to financially struggling and having to get a regular retail job again, i had almost no free time at all to work on anything! I wanted to finish all the sketches for my webcomic reboot and start posting it by the middle of the year, but that never happened :(

Well, this year, i no longer am in need of this retail job. I havent left the job yet, but i will be soon. The latest im staying at that job is in May, but i may leave sooner. Leaving my job will free up much more time for artwork and spending much needed time with my family.

Once i have that free time again, i plan on working on my webcomic reboot a lot more. Currently im just under half way thru all the pages rough sketches. I still have a long way to go, but still making progress!

Ive had subscriptions up here for a little while, but honestly, i dont really think its worth having right now. Other than the basic "Tip Jar" subscription, my others have been deleted along with the content that came with them. I dont post the exclusive content needed for them often enough to make a subscription worth it to anyone :/ So instead, I will soon will be adding in a Premium Gallery for old exclusive content such as some of my older NSFW artwork. I havent decided yet if i will post any newer NSFW artwork into this gallery yet tho. Im kinda hoping that someday, DeviantArt will add in a feature like a one time purchase for to view an image. Honestly i think that would be a much better solution than a full subscription, especially for those that dont post exclusive content very often like me. Subscriptions really only work for those who post a lot very often, and im just not one of those lol

For future reference tho, i do plan on bringing in a new subscription sometime later this year when i start up my webcomic again. I do plan on making the whole comic free to view, but i was thinking about starting a low price, early access subscription when the time comes to start it up.

Sharing a few updates about my upcoming webcomic!

For those who dont know, i started a webcomic back in 2016, but due to a lot going on, i never got to finish it. My goal for 2023 is completely rebooting this comic and starting it again!

Right now, i am in the process of redrawing all the old pages id originally completed years ago. I am currently almost caught up to where i left off. Back when i first started the comic, i completed 55 pages (out of roughly around 200, i cant remember the exact amount). Right now, i have finished sketching out new versions of 45 pages. The rest of my rough draft pages are in a storage unit right now, and i will be going to retrieve them on Monday March 13th. Then i will finally be able to finish sketching out the entire comic!

It is still going to be a little while before any of the new pages are finished and can be shared here, but soon i will be sharing reference sheets of my main characters' new looks!

I am still just so very excited to be working on this comic again! Its been stressful trying to find the free time to make it to my storage unit so i can get the rest of my rough drafts, but im so happy the time is almost here!!

In the meantime, i will continue working on my regular artwork as well. Im trying to complete at least one big, major piece each month. I dont know for sure if i can stay on that schedule, but im really trying to!

There has been a lot that ive wanted to do these past couple years with my art that i just havent gotten around to do. For 2023, im hoping to be much more active with my art. It will be a little rough with having to get a new job recently, but i think i can work around that.

Biggest announcement i have for 2023 is i plan on restarting my web comic!

For those new followers ive gotten over the past several years, i started a web comic back at the end of 2016 i believe it was. Due to being overworked at a crappy job, plus dealing with a lot of other personal crap, i never got around to finishing it. I did plan on restarting it back in 2020, but we all know what a shit show that year turned out to be! And since then, everything has been absolute chaos in my life, to the point where its been tough keeping up with art in general.

Well, now i finally have the free time to work on a comic again! Ive already started on sketching out new versions of all the pages i had originally completed. I have the rest of the story already roughly sketched out, but unfortunately its all in a storage unit about 5 hours away from where im living now. I will hopefully be going out to get it sometime later in January so i can sketch out the entire story and finish it for real this time.

The majority of the story is going to remain the same as what i started with, theres just going to be a few minor changes to the characters and their designs.

Im really excited to get back into working on this comic and finally finish it! I just really gotta keep myself focused on it this time and stay motivated to finish.

I will be posting more updates soon. I dont have an exact date yet when i will start posting the actual comic, but i will share that information as soon as i have it!
